I’m sure everybody has their own Mark E story. Mine involves downloading his Resident Advisor Podcast, sticking it on my personal mp3 player, frantically using the garden shears on the hedge for the duration on a scorching afternoon and coming in purple and buzzing. I’m sure things may have been different a few years ago. Mark E’s mix is just one of those I’m chalking on the all time faves board next to DJ Dimitri’s Spiritual Mix and a few others.
